People are very weak when it comes to a pretty face, and once they see that, nothing else matters. It looks pretty so it must be pretty, musn't it? But if it's ugly, then the same logic applies so it's an ugly thing unworth their time. Thus, a blind person is more likely to find true love than someone who is cursed with sight. Yes, cursed.

anyway, about the statement. i don't think what you see really matters at all. what counts is how you apply that vision or lack thereof.
