» Character ☆ Sora
» Fandom ☆ Kingdom Hearts II
» Age ☆ Sixteen
» Species ☆ Human
» Gender ☆ Male
» Timeline ☆ End Game || Post Blank Points

» Appearance ☆

Normal || Valor || Wisdom || Master || Final || Anti

Sora is short by normal standards, standing at around five foot four. He has brown hair is a deep caramel in color and stand in soft spikes, apparently naturally. He had bright, ocean blue eyes and tanned skin from spending so much time in the sun. Despite being short, he's very atheletic and fast moving. He usually wears loose fitting clothes, shorts that reach below his knees and tank tops, usually with a jacket, accompinied by lots of pockets and belts. He also wears shoes that appear to be about four sizes too big. He usually mixed dark and light colors, always making sure that it's something he can move and fight in.

» Personality ☆

There's a lot you need to know about Sora in order to understand him. On the surface, Sora is very much the typical big, brave, heroic personality type with a heart of gold, a stuborn streak and a hard head, literally. Under the surface, however, Sora is an extremely complex person with many different facets that make him who he is. He will willingly risk his life for anyone he considers a friend, even if it's someone's just met and doesn't even know yet. He's extremely loyal, almost to a fault, and is also extremely forgiving. He forgives Riku on the spot, even after the other had hunted him down and tried to kill him. Mulitple times. This could almost lends the idea that he's too trusting, and in some case, he just might be. But he's also extremely protective, not only of Kairi, but of all of his friends. He's the type to think positive and stay upbeat and optimistic, almost to the point of being annoying, no matter what the situation.

While Sora can be simple minded at times, he's far from being the naive young hero everyone is used to. He's almost always aware of what's going on around him. His sense of justice and what is right and fair is extremely strong, and he'll fight for what he believes in and what he thinks is right. This doesn't mean he still doesn't have moments of naivity, but it doesn't make up a large part of who he is. Sora has matured a lot over the year in game, and it's shown during his battles, in how his expression is more serious, in how he's more confident and readily leads his group into battle. And it's far from an easy task, considering his group consist of a blabbering duck and goofy dog. While sometimes gullible and oblivious, he's not stupid as a first impression of him might seem. He can usually see through his enemires tricks. Usually, because hey, he did fall for Saix's.

Sora is also extremely caring. In all of the worlds he visits, he's always a possitive reinforment for the people he meets and tries to help out where and when he can, to the point of losing track of what his own personal goals and missions are. The game would have ended hours sooner than it did if only Sora knew how to stay on task. Even when he has been hurt by someone, he still continues to care about them. He forgives Namine easily and almost instantly for her tampering with his memories, even if he can't remember her doing so. And he stays by Axel's side as he fades away because hey, dude just died for him, he must be okay.

Sora has little tolerance for cowardice or selfishness, and he even shows how brave he is when he critizes the god of the underworld, Hades for showing these traits. Like most children his age, he as a mean compeitive streak, although it's mostly just against Riku, since the two's childhood was almost completely comprised of the two racing and sparring against each other. You can't really blame him, since what else are two young boys supposed to do on an island? He is, however, quick to become angry when he's confused, and can be quite childish at times, despite the fact that he's a teenager. He can also seem quite impulsive, jumping into things, literally, without really thinking his actuons through or how they might affect the other people involved or his actual goal in the end.

Sora will also, at times, show what could be perceived as a disrespect for those who are of higher authority than him. When they group meets Yen Sid, both Donald and Goofy bow deeply to him while Sora basically tells him to get on with it. He wants answers, damn it. Bowing will get him no where. He is, however, always respectful and kind of King Mickey as well as the Queen. He also shows respect for Simba, but that's probably because he took the form of a lion cub in the Pride Lands and, well, he didn't want to be eaten.

Given all of this, however, the most important things to Sora are his friends and completeing the task he has been given. Riku and Kairi are the two most important people to him, and he would do anything to keep them by his side. He draws a lot of strength from them and they keep him determined and on track, which isn't an easy task. His friends are his power, something no one can ever take away, because they will always be in his heart.

» Abilities ☆

Keyblade

Sora's ability to wield a keyblade wasn't gained in the normal way. In fact, he only gained it after his heart reached out to that of Ventus after sensing that the other's heart was too shattered to go on. By this joining of the two's hearts, he became able to wield not only his own keyblade, but that of Ventus as well. Sora's default keyblade is one from the Realm of Light. He gains it right before his home world, Destiny Island is consumed by darkness. It's default form is known as the Kingdom Key and uses a Hidden Mickey keychain.

He gains other keyblades through out both games by collecting keychains from various characters within the games. He is also shown to be able to take keyblades from other's, such as during the right with Roxas where he easily summons both Oblivion and Oath Keeper from Roxas' hands. He can also wield one that has been given to him willingly, such as during the end fight with Xemnas, when Riku lends him Way to the Dawn. He is also able to use two keyblades at once, using them in tandem using an ability known as Sync Blade, thanks to Ventus' heart resting with in his own.

Magic

Sora has also become very skilled in the various forms of magic over his time in the games. He knows most of the basic spells (such as Fire, Blizzard, or Thunder), and even more after his time training with Merlin. These spells allow him to weaken Heartless to a point where they are more vulnerable to certain elements and attacks. He can also use a form of Cure, which restore the party members HP and can revive a fallen party member. His heal stats, however, aren't as good as Riku's, so his healing abilities aren't quite on par with his. When using his drive forms, his magic can also be increased, as well as his speed, agility and strength, as well as his control over his keyblade.

Summons

In the second game Sora learns how to use limits with party members. Using a summon gem, card or charm, he can summon a character to come and temporarily aid him in battle. Each character has some special power or ability that makes them useful. He first learned of the summons in Kingdom Hearts when he finds Simba's gem after his world had been destroyed and he brings it to the Fairy Godmother, who helps restore his spirit form. He then proceeds to gather the five other summons, two of which did not start as summon gems.

He loses all summon gems when their true forms are restored to them, however. In Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, he learned to summon using cards rather then the gems he had used preciously. In this game all of his previous summons remain, with one addition: Cloud. In Kingdom Hearts II, Merlin gives him a summon charm that allows him to call specific character to his aid. After being given this gift, he eventually finds three other charms that allow him to summon even more powerful characters.

Drive Forms

A Drive Form is a very special ability that Sora is granted by the Fairy Godmothers early on in his journey in the second game. They allow Sora to transform into much more powerful forms, but using Goofy or Donald or even both within his party. He can also use different, more powerful attacks in these forms. However, while Sora can normally level up to level ninety nine, all Drive Forms with the exception of Anti form can only reach level seven. There are technically six different Drive Forms, although one is only found in Final Mix.

The Drive Gauge is a small gauge that is located directly above the Magic Points Gauge, and limits when the Drive Forms can be used, so they are not used constantly. It it measured by different levels and these can be gained by beating different bosses or by performing certain acts or events. Once the Drive is triggered, the drive gauge will begin to drain and once it is empty, Sora will revert back to his original form.

Valor form allows Sora to dual wield two keyblades of the players choosing. It's a form that specializes in more psychical combats situations, but you aren't allowed to cast spells while in this form, a contrast to the Wisdom form. It has a special ability known as High Jump. In this form Sora's clothes also become a bright red with a fleur-de-lis symbol decorating it. It uses Goofy's power and is based upon him as well. Sora's running speed is noticeably enhanced when he is in this form. This form is also able to gain experience with each successful hit on an enemy, making it the easiest form to level up in. Sora gains this form when he obtains his new clothes from the fairies at Yen Sid's Tower.

Wisdom form allows Sora to float across the ground as if he were on a skateboard and uses a single keyblade to shoot out powerful beams of energy along with different spells. Its special ability is called Quick Run, which is basically a fast dashing technique used to move quickly through areas or dodge attacks. Sora wears blue clothes with flame symbols decorating them. It uses Donald Duck's power and is based upon him this time instead of Goofy. This form also gains experience whenever a Heartless is destroyed. It can be obtained after Timeless River is beaten.

Limit form is an outfit based upon Sora's old clothes from the first game. As I already mentioned it can only be obtained within Final Mix and as such is not usually thought of as being applicable as an ability that Sora would use often is at all outside of that game.

Master form is a combination of both the Wisdom and Valor forms. It uses two Keyblades, one controlled through telekinesis and the other by hand. Because of this it can be used for either magic based attacks or more physical ones. . Its special ability is know Aerial Dodge, a midair jump that blocks attacks (and can also reflect projectiles). Sora this time wears yellow clothes with a cross motif. This form is based upon Mickey Mouse and uses both partners. This form can also gain experience but does so by collecting Drive Orbs. Every small orb is worth one EXP while every big orb is worth 3 EXP. It can be obtained in Hollow Bastion by speaking to King Mickey before the Battle of the 1000 Heartless or during the events of Space Paranoids.

Final form is not only of the strongest form, and while it also allows Sora to wield two keyblades, it does so through telekinesis. It is equally strong in both magic and physical attacks. Its special ability is called Glide, and allows the user to fly briefly. Sora wears silver/white clothes, this time with a crown motif. It's fighting style is very much based off that of Roxas and uses both character's. This form can only gain experience when a Nobody is destroyed, which also makes it the most difficult form to achieve. It is obtained in The World That Never Was randomly, after Sora's battle with Roxas. While the first occurrence of this form may be random, it can be accessed at any time afterwards.

Anti form is the only one where Sora does not wield a keyblade. It specializes in fast attacks and many combos, but lacks the ability to cast spells, shield, recover HP, or use Reaction Commands, which is sometimes required to end a boss battle. It only appears when one tries to Drive, and the possibility of it appearing depends upon the Anti Points which is a hidden counter, that increases with each Drive by one point except for when Sora is in the Anti and Final forms. However, using the Final Form will reset this nd lower the chance of it happening even further.

It has no special ability, and while it's combo's are rather fast, the attacks themselves are weakened, and Sora will be stuck within it until the Drive gauge runs out. In this form, Sora becomes completely black with yellow eyes, as well as having a dark mist rise from his body, and he moves very much like a Shadow Heartless, while also resembling the AntiSora boss from the original Kingdom Hearts. It uses both partners and consumes all of the Drive Gauge.

Limit Breaks

As already explained Sora can team up with different party members to use Limit Breaks. Most of these are tied into his Drive Forms, but the most notable one is the one used with Riku named Eternal Session. It has several different attacks which allows Sora to project beams of dark energy from his keyblade, as well as unleash fast combo's. The most important attack, however, is called Alls End, which happens at the end of the attack. Sora and Riku toss their Keyblades together to act as a super-damaging magnet, Sora's creating a ball of light energy while Riku's creates a ball of dark energy, killing any and all enemies within the attacks reaching distance.

Other

Sora is a strong kid for his age and has shown to be capable of wielding other weapons besides just his keyblade. Most of his attacks are light based. This does not, however, mean that he's a good fighter without it. In fact, he'd be nearly incapable of fighting and helpless if it was taken from him. He also seems to have certain a abilities that can be considered super human. He takes falls from great heights and comes out uninjured and alive. He also has incredibly strength, as shown when he is able to lift heavy boulders easily. He is capable of leaping great distances and can also jump rather high. He can cut through slabs of concrete or even whole buildings, which is also an ability that seems to be shared by Riku. He can also teleport, or simply move to fact to be seen using the Warp Snipe ability.

Sora || Birth By Sleep || Kingdom Hearts || Chain of Memories || Days || Kingdom Hearts II || Blank Points

Birth By Sleep

Sora's story begins on the island that is his home when he's a young child. Through out the game it's easy to see that Sora is not only best friends but rivals with Riku, often being seen around the small group of Island battling and practicing using wooden swords, racing and doing just about anything else that young boys enoy and can compete at. At a point prior to the introduction of Birth by Sleep, Sora's newly born heart comes into contact with the injured heart of Ventus and manages to mend it, in a way, offering his helo to restore his broken heart until his help is no longer required. This caused them to form a powerful connection to one another, and is also the reason why Vanita's take's on the appearence of Sora once he grows up, the only differences being Vanitas' jet black hair where Sora's is brown, and his golden eyes replacing Sora's sky blue.

Around the time that Sora is four years old, he meets both Terra and Aqua, both exprienced wielders of the keyblade, making up the part of the generation before him, on separate occasions. While he never spoke to Terra, allowing Riku to do so instead, they have seen each other on Destiny Island and would more than likely be able to recognize each other. Terra, however, shows no interest in Sora because he is unable to sense any potential within him, instead being attracted to Riku. When he meets Aqua, however, she is able to see the potential that he holds. It's at this moment that she contemplates passing the power down of the keyblade down to Sora, but decides against it, senseing that Terra had already passed the power down to Riku, and wanting to avoid them following in her and Terra's foot steps and fighting as they had. She does, however, tell Sora to protect Riku, even if he were to fall into darkness, to which he instantly agrees, proclaiming verbally that Riku is his best friend. Ventus also visists the Island at many different points, but never meets Sora.

As the credits to the game finish up, Sora and Riku can be seen sitting on a beach, staring up at the stars. As they prepare to depart and go home, an overwhelming sadness takes over Sora and Riku tells him that perhaps, somewhere in another world, someone is calling out to him and prompts him to reach into his own heart and search them out. Closing his eyes, the young child does so, and is sent to the Awakening, where he once more encounter's the lost heart of Ventus. Having lost it's path and being forced to return to sleep, though reluctant to do so, it ask if it could become a part of Sora's heart, where it could stay locked away and safe, Sora happily accept, telling that as long as he can make the other happy by doing this, he is willing to do so. It's also important to note that this is how Sora is able to wield the keyblade, because the heart of Ventus resides within his own, and therefore, passed the power onto him.
.
Kingdom Hearts

About a year after the events that take place during Birth by Sleep, a little girl named Kairi arrives on the Island from one of the outside worlds. Being placed up for adoption and taken in by the mayor, she quickly becomes with friends with both Sora and Riku. On another day, Sora and Riku find a small, hidden cave on the island where they like to play, which they later come to call "The Secret Place". As they begin to search through it, they discuss the arrival of Kairi as well as the meteor shower that had recently fallen over the Island. It is here that they find a door, with a missing handle at the very back of the cave. Unable to open it, they decide to leave, but not before Riku is able to see the worlds Keyhole.

During the years of childhood, the three friends would often wounder about what lay outside their small group of Island. By the time they become teenagers, they've deciced to a build a small raft in the hopes of one day sailing to other worlds and discovering what may lay there. The day comes when they would start the construction and Sora can be found on the beach, dozing off in the warm rays of the sun near the short, and has a rather off dream where in he travels through the realm of darkness and battles a massive, unnamed black creature. When he is awakened by a laughing Kairi, he runs off to help collect provision for the raft. The night before they are to set sail, a massive storm over takes the island, along with a strange, dark force. Riku later succumbs to this force, the darkness, claiming that he's not afraid of the darkness. Sora fights against it, trying as hard as he can to reach and save his friend, but ultimately fails.

It is during this uprising that Sora first unlocks and realizes his potential as a wielder of the keyblade, summoning to his aid the power of the Kingdom Key to battle the Heartless as they infest his home. He later battles the massicve Heartless that he once dreamt of before he makes his to The Secret Place in search of Kairi. Finding her there, she disappears as he reaches for her. Afterwards, Sora is swept from his island home and thrown into a Corridor of Darkness and lands in a world known as Traverse Town.

It's in Traverse Town that Sora first meet Donal Duck and Goofy, the respective Royal Court Magician and Captain of the Royal Guard of Disney Castle. Under strict orders from The King, who is later revealed to be none other than Mickey Mouse, the pair begin to search for two things. A mysterous 'key' and a man by the name of Leon. As the King had long Keyblade might just be the mysterious key that the King had asked his new friend to find.

Sora later discovers that Riku is also searching for Kairi, while neither of them are having much luck in finding her. It is now that Maleficent sees her chance and tells Riku that Sora has basically replaced himself and Kairi with his new friends. Armed with this false knowledge, Riku sets out to find Kairi on his own, leaving Sora to travel to a number of other worlds to fight Heartless, but this is not without worrying and wondering where his friend is once more. From these worlds, Sora locks the Keyholds, keeping these worlds out of the reach of darkness and protects the worlds hearts. During his quest he makes countless new friends almost everywhere he goes, allowing the power of his already strong heart to increase, which also improve the power of his keyblade.

It's only upon his arrival in Hollow Bastion that he is controned by Riku, who reveals to him that he's the Keyblades true master instead of Sora, even going so far as to call Sora the delivery boy. It is at this moment that Riku claims the Kingdom Key for himself. Despite feeling a tremendous amount of guilt for doing so, Donald and Goofy are both forced to leave Sora behind, following the King's order to stay with whoever had the keyblade. When Beast finally pulls himself up to the castle, Sora shows an instant concern for him, warning him to be careful because of his injuries. Beast does little more than shrug off these worries, saying he was not leaving this place before he found
Belle. When asked what he was doing there, Sora realized that he needed to the same attitude that Beast had, and continues on with him towards the entrance to the hall of the castle.

Within thr castle walls Sora once again meets with Riku, Goofy and Donald. The weight of their guilt finally becoming too much, Donald and Goofy return to Sora's side, declaring their loyalty to him. Riku, furthering his earilier taunting, ask Sora how he intends to fight without a weapon, to which Sora replies that he didn't need a weapon. He already had one. His heart. Riku then further taunts Sora, calling his heart weak and pathetic. It is then that Sora proves the true power and strength that his heart holds, declaring that his friends are his power. At this, the Kingdom key realizes that Riku, it's true wielder or not, had truly turned to darkness and sought out the strongest heart with the power to wield it and reutnred to Sora. Enraged, Riku proceeds to attack Sora, using his Soul Eater weapon and loses. Furious at his own hearts weakness, he makes the mistake of listening to a mysterious voice. Finally opening his heart fully to the darkness he had immersed himself in, he becomes possessed by this man instead.

The party continures on, encountering Maleficent and defeating her. Using the Kryblade born of six of the Princesses of Hearts' hearts, Riku unlocks the darkness in her heart before leaving. Transforming into a black, fire-breathing dragon from the proliferation of darkness in her heart. she is pnce against defeated and Heartless swarm in to swallow her heart. Moving farther into the depths of Hollow Bastion, Sora finds his friend once more, who is now calling himself Ansem, Seeker of Darkness, who states that he intends to find Kingdom Hearts itself. Although it's heartbreaking to fight against his best friend, Sora once more wins.

It is then that Kairi is revealed to be a Princess of Heart, possessing the power to open up the Final Keyhole that leads to Kingdom Hearts, but because he heart is laid within Sora, it canont be opened, as is explained by Ansem. Scarificing himself, Sora uses the Keyblade of People's Hearts on himself, removing both of their hearts, causing him to become a Heartless and unknowingly creating both Roxas and Namine in the process, the two's Nobodies. When he finally manages to reunite with his long lost friend as Heartless, Kairi uses her light to call out to him in the darkness and restore him to his human form.

Kairi is revealed to be one of the Seven Princesses of Heart who possess the power to open the Final Keyhole that leads to Kingdom Hearts, but because her heart laid within Sora, it cannot open, as explained by "Ansem". In order to return her heart and wake her up, Sora uses the Keyblade of People's Hearts to remove both their hearts, sacrificing his humanity and becoming a Heartless, unknowingly creating Roxas and Naminé, the Nobodies of Sora and Kairi respectively. When he manages to reunite with Kairi after a brief stint as a Heartless, Kairi uses her light to restore his human form. After a brief stop to regroup in Traverse Town, Sora decides that he has to return to Hollow Bastion to seal the Final Keyhole and make one final attempt to save his lost friend from the clutches of Ansem. Kairi gives Sora her lucky charm (Which is infact the keycain for Oathkeeper) since he insist that she should stay behind, joking that she would only be in his way.

Sora, along with his two companions sail to Hollow Bastion and manage to seal the Final Keyhold after a battle with powerful Heartless. The six Princesses of Heart awaken, and warn him of a new darkness that is approaching, causing the tio to travel to what is known as the End of the World, or the world of the Heartless, made up of all the worlds that had fallen into darkness, where they once more confront and defeat Ansem, finally in his real form, once and for all. Ansem, even though defeated, calls fourth Kingdom Hearts to fill him with the power od darkness, but Sora proclaims that Kingdom Hearts isn't made up of darkness, but of light. As light pours from the open door, it destroy's Ansem. However, Heartless begin to swarm from inside the door and Sora, along with Donald and Goofy rush to close it, but are unable to. Even as they attempt it, Riku along with King Mickey appear on the other side of the door. Riku aids in the closing of the door, and together, King Mickey and Sora seal the door from both sides with Sora's Keyblade from the Realm of light and Mickey's Keyblade from the Realm of Darkness. However, Sora soon realizes that this is going to be another heart wrenching goodbye as he is forced to leave his best friend along with the King trapped on the other side of the door to darkness. Riku's last words to Sora are simple: Take care of her, leaving Kairi in Sora's hands.

The worlds begins to restore themselves and Sora spots Kairi standing on a platform of sand that is slowly drifiting away. Kairi and Sora are separated as Kairi returns to Destiny Island. Sora, however, promises to return to her as soon as he's found Riku and the King.

Chain of Memories

After once more being parted from his two best friends, Sora can be seen as he wanders down a long path with Donal and Goofy by his side, as always, searching for a way to find Riku and the King. They encounter Pluto along the way, who joins them for a time. When they reach a crossroad they decide to camp out there for the night, only for a mysterious man in a long black hooded cloak appears before them and proclaims to Sora that: Along the road ahead lies something you need. However in order to claim it you must lose something that is dear to you. The man disappears shortly after and only one path remains where there once stood many. The trio follow the path with leads to Castle Oblivion. They proceed to enter the castle, hoping to find some clues as to what the man was talking about as well as the where abouts of their friends, only to discover the further they descend into the castle, the more their memories become scrambled, becoming more and more uncertain as to what they are truly after, finding that even the entries they have made with Jiminy's journal have been erased.

Unbeknowenest to them, their memories are instead being manipulated by a mysterious organization that seek to not only capture, but to manupulate Sora. In order to do this, they use Namine, someone who they refer to as a witch, with the powers to rearrange the chains of memories withing a persons mind and make new links between them. In order to cause Sora to forget Kairi, Namine begins to slowly replace his memories of Kairi with those of herself, partly because she is Kairi's Nobody and is unable to completely erase the strong memories that Sora holds of her. During this time, the conflict between the members of the organization lead to many encounters between Sora and Riku, who's memories of Kairi have alos been replaced with those of Namine.

The trios uncertainty only builds when they end up in Twilight Town, a place that Sora is almost certain he has never actually visited and should therefore not exist in his memory. It is here that member IV of the Organization, Vexen, reveals that this place only exist on the other side of Sora's heart, but is eliminated by Axel, the VIII member of the Organization before he can reveal too much. Axel, in the end, betrays Marluxia, who has been put in charge of Castle Oblision, revealing that Marluxia and Larxene, the newest members of the Organization, plan to use Sora to overthrow the rest of group. Azel the turns on Namine, forcing her to do what she believes has been right all along. While Donald and Goofy try to talk some sense into Sora, his stubborness prevails and he separates from them to go off on his own.

It's on Destiny Island where Sora, touched to have finally finds Namine, the person he believes to be so special to him, begs him to remember who was truly so important to him. After taking one look at the lucky charm that Namine had given him earlier on, it takes on it's original form, and Namine, for a few moments, takes on the appearence of Kairi. Sora manages to escapt the memory bases Destiny Island and confornts Namine, who then reveals that she had never truly existed within Sora's memory at all, and that she had been replaced the person who was truly important to him. Riku then appears once more and is again defeated by Sora. When Sora tries to help the injured Riku he instead attacks, and gains the upper hand. Having been left no choice, Namine uses her power to break Riku's memories, causing him to collapse. Larxene then comes forth with the intent to eliminate both Sora and Riku, with Riku being revealed to actually being a replica that had been created by Vexen.

With Larxene about to eliminate Sora, Donald and Goofy finally catch up to him and manage to aid him in battle enough to msave him. Although Sora admits he was a jerk and wrong to go off on his own, they forgive him easily, stating that they would always go together. And it's together that the three defeatr Larxene and Sora forgives a regretful Namine for her actions during the time in the castle. She promises him to restore all of their memories once they reach the thirteenth floor of the castle, where Marluxia was waiting for them. During this Axel tries to destroy Marluxia himself in order to save Sora from having to do so, but Marluxia uses Namine as a human shield, forcing him to stop his attacks. However, Sora soon arrives and defeats Axel. Catching up to the other twop, Marluxia orders Namine to completely erase Sora's memory, in order for him to be able to use him as a puppy. Namine refuses, but Sora begs her to do so, in order to allow him to prottect her from Marluxia. Fortunately Riku Replica, his own true memories returned arrives and saves Namine before she is able to erase Sora's memories. Sora, along with his friends, step into the thirteenth floor's dimension where they fight Marluxia in an incredible battle.

It's a long, hard battle, but finally, Marluxia is defeated. Namine then askes that they step into the Memory Pods that would rearrange their memories back into the way they were at the begining, at the cost of breaking the links that she created. She then informs him that the process will take some time, during which the three would sleep and their memories were slowly restored. While they know that they will forget about Namine, Sora promises her that while she may have been forgotten, she would remain within his heart and there fore would never truly be forgotten. And when he finally wakes up, that they would be friends for real. Right before he goes to sleep, Namine informs him that some of his memories were unreachable, but ask that he remembers Kairi, because it was his memory of her that would be the light that would bring them all back. Sora uses the power of his memories to remember her before finally falling into a deep slumber.

358/2 Days

Namines powers are unable to do much to fix the problems that had been caused, however, as it is later discovered that the existence of Roxas, Sora's Nobody and Xion a replica of Roxas created from memories that had been leaked from him. As Roxas and Sora share a powerful connection and Xion was created from their joint memories, Sora's lost memories found way inside of Xion through Roxas. It is this act that causes Sora's memory restoration process to come to a complete and utter stop.

While the Organization intends to have Xion absorb Roxas and form a new Sora that would be under their control, the act would erase Roxas and therefore make it impossible for the real Sora to ever awaken. Xion discovers this truth and she willingly makes the choice to return to Sora, saving him at the cost of her own existence. But before she can complete this taste, Axel comes to take her back to the Organization, starting a fight in which she loses. During her captivity, she is stored within a set a series of machine like devices and given a set of new powers so that she may be able to absorb Roxas when the right time comes.

Eventually, however, Roxas and Xion meet at the Clock Tower of Twilight Town, a place that was speical to them, where she removes her hood, showing that her looks now mimic Sora's as an effect of his memory flow. Although she fights with all of her strength, Roxas proves to be stronger and defeats her. As she disappears and returns to Sora, she ask Roxas to free Kingdom Hearts from the control of Xemnas. Although Sora;s lost memories are back where they should be, Roxas, Sora's body and soul is still the missing link, preventing Namine from completely restoring Sora. It is at this time that Riku hunts Roxas down, instent to gind him and take him back so that his friend can be reawakened, scarificing himself in the process to the darkness in order to defeat Roxas at Memory's Skyscraped. After an intense battle, Riku finally captures Roxas and brings him back to DiZ and Namine.

Kingdom Hearts II

The events of Kingdom Hearts II take place one year later, when Sora, Donald and Goofy finally awak in the basement of the Old Mansion located in Twilight Town with their memories fully and completely restored. However, they can no longer remember anything that happened with in the walls of Castle Oblivion. But before thay wake, Roxas eventually finds Sora within the confines of Twilight Town and finally fuses with him. Taking this chance to continue their journey to find Riku and King Mickey, they set out, traveling across new olds, meeting old friends and makihg some new ones as well as meeting some enemies from the first game. They continue to fight against the Heasrtless that are still at large and now an entire new threat: the remaining members of the Organization that they first encountered in the first Chain of Memories. Exploring Twilight Town, Sora and his friends head off to the Myterious Tower where Sora aquires some new clothers, on the advice of Yen Sid, stating that the first set of clothes were noe far too small. Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather make the new outside, which enables Sora to transform into his Drive Form, with each one given him special powers. The source of the clothings magic is closely linked to Sora's one heart which is connected to the people that Sora has met and befriended

Through out his entire journey, Sora expresses his determination to bring Riku back to the Island with him, where he knows that Kairi waits for them. The quest only becomes more complicated, however, when Kairi is kidnapped by Axel. Pete, now working for a resurrected Maleficent along with the other memebers of the Organization causing trouble in other worlds and King Mickey refusing to give up any information about Riku only causes more problems. Sora must also work to discover why the members of the Organization refer to him as Roxas after than his own name, even when he clearly states that his name is Sora, and not not Roxas. Throughout the game, it seems as though Sora also becomes rather interested in the romances of his friends. He travels to man worlds trying ti find Riku and the King and stop the Organization.

It's at this point in the storyline that Donald and Goofy's homeworld becomes infested with Heartless, with is rather unusual since their world is well protected and Sora finally gets to visit Disney Castle for the first time. While the other two set out to warn the castle's resisent's about the impending danger, Sora gets to escort Queen Minnie into the Audience Chamber, where the Cornerstone of Light is hidden. There he finds out that Pete and Maleficent have found a pathway into the Timeless Rive, a sort of past timelime before the castler was even built. With a little bit of help from Merlin, Sora and the other's time travel and manage to stop Pete from Destroying the Cornerstone of Light and saves the castle for good.

Sora then travels back to the simulated Twilight Town where with the help of Hayner, Pence and Olette who are three friends of Roxas along with Axel, who scarifices his exsistence in order to help save Sora, he sets off in route to the World That Never Was, the stronghold of the Organization. This where Kingdom Hearts was created by gathering countless hearts from the Heartless that had been slain by Sora's very own keyblade, and where it still resides, Soon after entering the world, around the area of the Memory Skyscaper where Riku fought Roxas, Sora's group is ambushed by a flock of Samurai Nobodies and Sora becomes cornered into a forced show down with a member of the Organization who turns out to be Roxas, wearing his former black cloak, on his Chamer of Awakening. At the start of the fight, Sora ask Roxas who he is, in which he refers to himself as someone from the dark, and then ask Sora: Tell me, tell me why he picked you! As Roxas floats above the other, he looks down, seeing the pictures of his friends, of Riku, Kairi, Donald and Goofy, and says that he see's why, and continues on with the fight. As Roxas knockls the blade of Sora's graps and he goes to retrieve it, Roxas stops him, pinning it down with the tip of his own keyblade. While it appears for a short time that Sora will be defeated, he reaches out for his keyblade, which returns to his hand. Ultimately, the control Sora had over his keyblade is what gives him the upper hand, defeating Roxas to collapses and finally reveals his face. As the scene fades, Roxas tells Sora, simply: You make a good other.

Sora reappears never to his friends, who tell him that while he had been gone they had to fight the Nobodies and they continue towards the castle where Kairi waits. Once they reach it, the three, along with King Mickey, storm, the Castle in search of their friends, only to be stopped by Saix in the Hall of Emoty Melodies, who informs them that Kingdom Hearts is almost complete, and tells Sora to continue to collect hearts for it's completion. He then summons a hoard of Shadow Heartless and flees. The Heartless manage to overpower Sora and his friends, but are destroyed by Xigbar, whi Sora then fights. Afterwards, Sora finally meets up with Kairi and finally, after searching for so long, finds Riku, who is stuck in the form of Ansem.

The five of them then continue on, making it to the Proof of Existence of the Organization, in which there are only two place to go. They enter one of the pathways and come across Luxord. Although he traps everyone but Sora in a barrier of cards, he is still easily defeated. Next the enter the Addled Impasse where they find Saix staring up at moon longingly. Saix points out that only Roxas could ever have made it this far in one piece, which causes Sora to rise to anger and prepares to attack him. Saix then sends a wave of wind energy at Kairi, and Riku sheilders her, blowing them both away. After on the most difficult battles Sora has fought so far, Riku finally reveals just who Roxas is. Sora's Nobody.

With that mystery solved, they continue on, fighting their way up the winding paths of the castle, until they finally encounter the King and DiZ, who is finally revealed to be the former ruler of Hollow Bastion, new renamed Radiant Garden. He also reveals who he truly is: Ansem the Wose. He is seen to be trying to absorb Kingdom Hearts with a machine he had created and encode it with data. Xemnas appears to see who is messing his creation and finds his old teacher. It is only now that Xemnas reveals the true plan to a Kingdom out of Hearts, and for him to be it's ruler. Unfortunately, the strength of Kingdom Hearts proves to be too much for his machine and in his final words, he tells Sora the rest is up to him, and then speaks to Roxas, saying he doubted he could hear him, but that he was sorry. The machine explodes, taking Ansem with it. The energy that is released does what it was intended to do, destroying a large piece of Kingdom Hearts and gives Riku back his original appearence,

Near the center of the castle the Heartless begin to appear in cast number, but Maleficent and Pete show up and agree to stall them while the party heads to the final battle. When they finally reach the Altar of Naught they are confronted with Xemnas, who is the leader of the Organization. After a short conversation, Sora is taken by Xemnas back to the Memory Skyscaper, where they engage into a one on one battle where in Sora comes out victorious. However, Xemnas is not defearted for good and appears once more and despite the groups pleas, enters and then absorbs Kingdom Hearts. The party has a stroke of luck, however, when a door to Kingdom Hearts appears and Sora, Riku and the King open it with keyblade, breaking the barrier keeping them from Xemnas. They then enter, but Sora and Riku along with Donad and Goofy are separated from Kairi and Mickey early on by Xemnas.

Inside they find the true effects of Kingdom Hearts, appearing to look like the World That Never Was. They coming charging through and quickly find their opponent and fight him, but with Xemnas in a special suit of armor and using the tactics of the other members of the Organization, it's easier said then done. When they defeat him once more and return to Alter of Naught, Roxas emergers from Sora to speak to Namine one final time before he fuses with Kairi. Before this came happen, Namine opens a pathway that will lead them out of the world, since Riku is no longer able to. She and Roxas then inform Sora that they aren't sad, because whenever he and Kairi are tohether, they can be too. They then absorb back into their respective Somebodies, making them whole once more.

Unfortunately, before Sora along with Riku can enter the pathway, Xemnas attacked once more, this time using a ginat Dragon Nobody. An epic air battle ensues but the two defeat this form of Xemnas as well. They fight him once more in the set of armor, before finally encounting him in the area of nothingness, where the engage in their last, most tiring and vicious battler in which Riku is serious injured by Xemnas, taking both of his Etheral Blades. The blow had been meant for Sora, who had been knocked out of the way by Riku. Recovering, Sora flies through the air, and with Riku lending him Way to the Dawn, attacks with vigor, finally pushing Xemnas back enough. With Riku's help they perform the final attack of Eternal Session, All's End, finally defeating Xemnas for good. Afterwards, however, Sora must help the help the heavily injured Riku. They wander through the eternal, never ending abyss before finally coming to the Dark Margin, where they sit on the shore line and finally get a chance to talk, about their adventure, about their friendship, and they both come to the same conclusion. The Realm of Light was safe. As Riku said: If worlds are made of light and darkness, we'll be the darkness. It's in that moment they agree to be the darkness together. They fall into silence, simply enjoying the peace.

As they listen to the waves of the ocean, a glass bottle containing a letter from Kairi. Riku picks it up and after reading it, hands it Sora, believing it to be for him. After Sora has read it, the door to the light appears, and both Sora and Riku return to their own own. Destiny Island. Having brought Riku back home and being reunited with both of his friends and having them be in one piece, he returns Kairi's good luck charm, and they clasp hands, Kairi announcing that they were finally all home.
