Yoga helps me be mindful. However, when I'm really stressed, it also makes me cry.
Doing physical activity of a more violent nature helps me meditate when I'm angry--for example, cleaning lets me focus on the dirt and not on my anger, which then recedes into the background and in the process my unconscious mind seems to work on it, so that when I'm done with the cleaning, I am ready to deal with the anger again. Or swimming laps, as some mentioned above.
