It's not in Florida and it's not in Singapore.. it's in fact Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates.
All this land in the photo is man-made. The city brings in millions of truckloads of sand from the desert, and forms these artificial waterfront communities. Having alot of water is a major status point in Dubai, as the heat is intense in the summertime, and most of the continent is covered in sand. But the UAE is an oil-rich country, and it's citizens can afford to live in these sprawling waterfront mansions. As far as I know, this country has one of the highest standards of living than anyplace in the world.. higher than Canada.
