My job is so exciting. I just spent the past 3 hours or so pulling off all of the keys on my keyboard, and cleaning up piles upon piles of crusty dust bunnies, food crumbs, paperclips and staples that have been hidden under the keys for a long, long time. Then I used a paper towel and Simple Green (that stuff smells so nasty) to clean off each

I have to work on my flower beds this week (and mow the lawn! which involves borrowing a lawn-mower!)... almost all the annuals I planted a couple weeks ago are completely dead. I can't tell if it's because they got too wet, not wet enough, or too hot.

I still haven't seen Love Actually but I want to. I love Alan Rickman!

Oh we have to mow our lawn too. I think we might be doing that tonight actually. Planting flowers out to be interesting. I have never, ever planted anything in my yard before. Guess I will soon find out if I have a green thumb or not :)

me-I think I have a killer thumb. I just can’t really grow anything, I think the ability to really get into gardening is innate. I don’t have the care to pay attention to species much, so things wind up overwatered and dying. I just pick which flowers look pretty and try and beg them to grow. I have a few potted plants on our balcony, but that’s it. Hey sarah, I’m planning a trip up to NY with friends June 26-7. Adirondack area. Any cool campsites you know of around there? We have a few picked out….

I haven't camped much around the Adriondacks, but my dad & my sister went camping in Lake Placid - http://www.lakeplacid.com/ - last summer and they said it's really nice there. I will have to ask them about where they camped. There are some links to places to camp on that Lake PLacid site. I am sure most of them are pretty nice.

Another good place to visit, from what I hear, is Saranac Lake -http://www.saranaclake.com/ - but again, I have never been there, so I can't say for sure how nice it is.

Where were you thinking of staying? If I find out the name of that campground my dad & sister camped at last year I will let you know :)

I LOVE pulling all the keys out of my keyboard and cleaning it out. :) It's a blast.

Ha! I actually kind of liked it too, and the whole time I was wondering why I had never done this before. I might just have to do this on my home computer sometime soon. There is something about it that's just so strangely satisfying, kind of like pulling lint from the dryer. :)
