Underwears? Plural?! Not that I'm any better - I call them pants or knickers!

With the sound card I think you might need to open your PC and have a look at it - there should be a maker's name and model number on it and then you just search the internet for a new driver and install it. I'm not an expert though so please don't go opening your computer without checking with someone who actually knows about these things!
