So, the boy is away for work AGAIN! Damn. He spends spends more time in Poughkeepsie working than he spends up here. He said that sometime this week he is going to tell his boss that he wants another raise because this is getting ridiculous. Poor you and poor Cory! I used to have a boyfriend who'd work away from home for weeks at a time and I hated it. Cory definitely deserves a raise!

It really is great. It's one of those books that I kind of dread the end, only because I don't want to stop reading it.

That's why I have read it so many times -- I start to miss Francie & Johnny & Aunt Sissy, especially, and I miss the neighborhood, so I have to read it again.

I noticed that Amazon has a film adaption of the book for sale. I wonder if it's any good.
