yup, that's why I try to buy milk that's labeled to not have that RBG stuff in it (or organic). It grosses me out. I don't eat meat either, but if I did, I think I would probably only want to eat organic too. All that stuff grosses me out. Of course, it's sort of a moot point because I'll eat a block of cheese anyway and who knows what's in there? Usually it's from Trader Joes though, so it's probably okay...
I wish we had a Trader Joes around here. I have never been to one but I have been meaning to check out one in Massachusetts that's about an hour and a half drive from here. My Nutrition class has really made me think twice about everything I eat. Ugh. I think I'm going to cringe everytime I eat a dairy product of any sort from now on.
Trader Joes rocks! It's my favorite grocery store. They sell sort of a combo of health/natural food with cheap gourmet/imported foods. I like it because it's not like a health food store where everything is healthy, it's more just like everything is sort of natural, even the quickie foods from the frozen section. Plus it's cheap. That's too bad that you don't have one nearby. I can get organic hormone-free milk from the little liquor store down the street though. That's California for you!
