I heard the first report on the radio news, then my family told me about the TV report showing a little dog pawing at the bus doors as his master was being driven away. How hearbreaking! How CRUEL. I cannot understand anyone doing this. Or making anyone do it.
I would not leave my cat behind. I could not do it.
Down here, none of us can understand how this whole situation has developed. It's incomprehensible to us that more is not being done to help evacuate people.
Unbelievable.

I went to class yesterday and when I was waiting for the class to start I asked several of the students if they planned on donating anything. I can't believe that almost half the class were like "I haven't even thought about donating, why would I do that?" or "It doesn't affect me" or the really sad part: "I might give some can food away."
Sometimes I just don't get people.
