She kind of has that look on her face like she needs to sneeze but it doesn't want to come out.

Haha, well, she is about to die, so...maybe the same face? I've never been about to die.

I'm going to claim I am a surgeon the moment I can legally put Dr. in front of my name. Mostly for the chance to give faulty medical advice.

Dear Matthew,

Please don't "go crazy" once you attain your doctorate and start having philosophical, life altering conversations with bisexual, unhappily married men. Please.

I watched The Number 23 tonight and came home to an eerily empty house, eerily quiet. I turned on all the lights, radios and t.v. Eery still.

Also, this Jonathan Safran Foer I like him. I am going to xerox lots of the pages of Everything is Illuminated and stuff them into my writing portfolio.

I miss you, quit being at work.

xo

P.s. JLO is on South Park and she just threw a small dog out the window of her limo.

I knew you'd like him.

I wanted to see 23, but perhaps I can wait until DVD. I'm glad you actually got to go to the movies.

I have been exposed to so much diversity already. I doubt any bearded man could seduce me and show me something "new". =P

I'm glad you found out what you want from life, sorry it's talking to people about their experiences.

That's not what the entry said. I enjoy speaking with people about literature, art, movies, etc. who come from different walks of life. I don't give two unbearable baby shits about the experiences themselves. Being a teacher isn't about delving deeply into the emotions and experiences of the students as much as it is delving into the emotions and experiences of the writer/poet. I think that is pretty profound. Especially when you reread texts after you know more about the history of the place the writer came from and the lifestyle they led.

Sorry you misunderstood.

Im sorry my drunk fingers got ahold of a keyboard. I just wish you would come out and play. I'm sure you are busy with school and work but I can't shake the image of you turning into WOW Matt and ignoring your friends to play a computer game. Life is more than work and school it's about fun too, so come have some, we miss you, I MISS YOU. Sorry it came out in a angry asshole way.

I understand. Although, coming out to "play" implies that I have fun. Coming over when drinking is involved isn't really fun. I tried during New Years, but it just didn't cut it. There are still a lot of unresolved issues (not with you) that make me uncomfortable ( ... )

Not a day goes by that I don't wish to be back in school. What could be better than learning forever. Just for the sake of learning. Surrounded by idealism.
