I was never too much of a Modest Mouse fan, but I always preferred the "Sharpen Your Teeth" sound of Ugly Casanova over MM's more recent stuff. I totally hated "Good News for People Who Love Bad News" (a title I found fitting, since if you assume the opposite is also true and that I prefer good news, that album was terrible news). I have just never really been able to get into Modest Mouse.

I love both, & I did enjoy how catchy Good News was, I haven't listened to all of this current album though Paul owns it. I guess I'm not really that interested in the album because I really liked the sound of albums such as This is a Long Drive more.

i'm gonna check it out, i've always been on the fence about modest mouse, i loved some of the material then couldnt listen to the rest of it, maybe this is the change i'm looking for.
