Lappy's CD drive sounds like it is going to rip right through the body and kill me. I mean, crazy loud (I'm playing an audio CD for the first time), I'm kinda scared.

In related news, what do you guys use to rip CDs?

Winmedia Player. Srsly. It seems to work well enough for me, and I tend to be a minimalist when it comes to cluttering my hard drive with programs. I'd rather fill it with music and games. :]

I use an ancient program called CDex. I also use it to convert .wav files to .mp3.
