Fact: Just about any time anyone comes to this community to complain about getting in trouble, they deserved it. I haven't heard of the Abuse Team fucking up in a long while now.

how about someone hijacking your old emails and cliaming you hijacked there account and getting you suspended, then sending LJA the emails I got from said email host saying I did indeed get hijacked and still keeping me suspended as it's not "proof".

Hey sorry for bothering you guys but I been reading and asking people around and nobody seem to help me out, I have a problem with My LJ for some reason for the past 2 weeks I can't see the comments that my friends have made to me or the ones i used to have .. I have no idea why when i go to my Lj and then I clik friends is completely empty ... can u be so kind and help me out ?... thank you

I don't think most contact information counts as "private" and think the LJA/TOS policy about revealing contact information as an abuse of privacy is preposterous.

However, if it wasn't in your profile, or any other public place, at the time he made the post then maybe they were right. That might mean LJA has to do research when they get these requests, but oh well.

I make an exception about email addresses only because of harvesting spambots.
