IP number needs to be identified to identify lj abuse on my lj.

I need to know if I can get this IP # Identified by you guys cause they hacked into my LJ and replied to my Wife as me and said some lame stuff.

67.160.107.168
It was today that it happened.

I think you've got the wrong idea about the purpose of this community.

You're probably looking to file an abuse report. for that, you want to go here, click the "read more" link, and follow those instructions.

Really, though, I think you just need to change the passwords for both your journal and the email account associated with it.

It's really pretty difficult to conclusively figure that out.

Most ISPs rotate their IP addresses, meaning that each computer gets a different IP each time it connects to the internet.

And often, the IPs are listed as being in the city the ISP is located in, not the computer. For example, to my knowledge, if someone with AOL comments on your journal, the IP will always have them showing up as being from Reston, VA, no matter if they live in VA, NJ, or CA.
