Welcome the forum. Any thoughts to working and going to school part time to afford an apartment of your own? Once you get out, you will be free of that dominance.
and still in high school. although maybe graduating a year early... but i would still be financially dependant on my assets, which are in my parent's name until i turn 18.
Honestly, I don't know what you could do. If you tough it out you'll be a stronger person but if there's any danger to your life please leave. I wish I could help you.

Hi wow ur actually very close 2 my age (17) and went through hell 2. I also wanna go 2 university away from my sick brother (SICK) but i also have the problem. i moved from canada to england!! so i can't exactly run away from home or anything. Then if i get in this university im going japan!! haha! ive already planned ahead As for ideas.........hmmm........kick him in the balls (in fact use sticks not just 1 but many XD) then steal all da food and money you can then run away to........hmmm.....i havent gotten 2 far with this plan...but if you need money i'll help you rob a bank!! i guess you actually wanted real advice.....sorry if i had the whole supportive parents thing i would but i have no 1 but friends who have shown me light (they used a flashlight) thats sounds so preachy too....no really without my random friends (who don't kno my secret) i would be in total slumpland or worst. Phewww.....now i'm just rambling so i shall say JA NE (japanese for see ya later)
