Loved it!

I thought the initial premise was marginally improbable, but then it developed into a really cute and believable account of their first night together. And with all the other stuff going on, who's to say that it didn't happen just like this?

Yeah, I figured someone would call me on that, but my only excuse is that I wanted to get right to the sex. Kinda like real life... :p

This was nothing like Lavender’s messy mauling. Half the time, he thought she was paying more attention to who was watching them snog than Ron himself ME, TOO, Ron. I totally think that. Haha!!

Oh, I love their nervousness!! And Ron's chivalrous behavior. *dreamy sigh* (I'm sorry it took me so long to read this - I have this unspoken rule about not reading fic when I'm writing a similar subject. I broke that rule for this, and happily!)

There were a lot of great lines, so I’m not going to list them all but this was one that stuck out in my head because it made me laugh so hard: It wasn’t a great first kiss as kisses go, since he was afraid of being slapped and she was startled.

Though it’s obvious through DH that Ron and Hermione are together, because the story is Harry-centric we never get to see them come to any decisions or talk about their relationship. It was awkward and beautiful, and totally perfect. As far as I’m concerned, this is part of DH and J.K.’s editors left it out by mistake.

I understand that it's Harry's book, but a little bit of Ron and Hermione action would've added a lot as far as I'm concerned... But that's why we have fan fiction, right? :)
