I've been watching Nashville from day one, and I love it because Connie Britton is simply perfect. And the story between Rayna and Deacon, is for me so epic because it's so strong, charged with their past and everything we didn't get to see, but just know it is there, which makes it even more palpable.
Most of all I just really like Rayna. She's such a strong, remarkable character despite being so very human.
And you've captured her so perfectly in this one piece.
In fact, you've captured everything there's to love about this tv show.
So I'm so glad you wrote this. And I don't know if you plan to write more to this fandom, but if you do, I'll probably be there to read it.
For now, thanks for this one.

They're all simply gorgeous, but section 6 - my heart.
Deacon watches her, and she watches him, and she can’t help but think about how most people think their history is something to be revered, but in reality, it is just something working against them at every turn.
GUH.
And I love so much that there was this undercurrent about Rayna/Deacon without this being Rayna/Deacon. She's so much more than this woman floating between men, and her finding herself and that peace despite the horrible pain of it... really really well done. Such a wonderful fic!!

I really wanted this to be a story about Rayna, and her prolonging the inevitable let down that occurs right at the end of the story, so I'm glad that came through.
THANK YOU FOR READING <3333

The characters are exactly that. Rayna is Rayna! I love that you have her sleep with Liam, because honestly? I think it's what she would do. Hide away from the world with the one thing she knows can't hurt her, because she doesn't care about him at all.
There were so many lines in there that I absolutely loved, but I think I'm going to highlight this one:
"After all, none of those love songs were ever about him, were they?"
Because yes. Exactly.
Also, I'm going to friend you, in case you post anymore awesome fic, and I don't find two recommendations on my flist in a row for them like I did for this!

She so would & I think she will. She's going to keep moving and moving and moving until it hits her all at once, and it will make for lovely television because CB is a master.
Friending you back - if you don't mind?
Thank you for reading! I really appreciate the kind words.

There is an inkling for some five things fic for these two - maybe five things that happened to Rayna & Deacon. I've got a few already sitting in my head.
Thanks for reading!
