Pairing: Japan (Kiku Honda)/China (Yao Wang)
Theme set: Delta

Warning[s]: ...Historical inaccuracies(?), country names (only), implied incest?
Notes: ...N/A.  Everything is explained in the Warnings (I hope.)

#01 - Air: Japan chuckled, trying to ignore China’s attempt of breathing.
#02 - Apples: “An apple for your thought,” Japan murmured, offering an apple.
#03 - Beginning: “We first met there, that forest full of bamboo trees, didn’t we?”
#04 - Bugs: “Get that thing away from me,” China cried, trying to get away from the cockroach that was trying to rest in the trash can.
#05 - Coffee: Japan never understood why people liked coffee, and was glad to find that China also preferred tea over the bitter (disgusting) drink.
#06 - Dark: It amazed him, Japan’s mood swing, but he couldn’t help but fear the darker side of Japan (it brought up too many memories, memories he wanted to forget.)
#07 - Despair: As Japan dealt with the reality of the situation-he had multiple personalities, and one attempted to control all of Asia-China had to deal with the reality of the destruction in his country.
#08 - Doors: “Hello, Japan,” China said through the crack in the door.
#09 - Drink: “You didn’t spike this, did you,” China asked, still wary after the last mishap (which involved cake… but that’s a different story.)
#10 - Duty: They knew that they had to fight for their country, had to defend their country, but they still dreaded meeting each other in battle, hated the thought of being forced to shoot each other.
#11 - Earth: “Japan, these lyrics… well, couldn’t you have chosen something else for me,” China asked, almost begging him to stop the release of Marukaite Chikyuu (or Draw a Circle, It’s the Earth.)
#12 - End: “And the curtains fell, marking the end of this horrible spell.”
#13 - Fall: “Maybe, you know, you could release me before I fall on my ass,” China snapped, even more irritable, and Japan was getting more amused with each passing second.
#14 - Fire: It burned them both, and they wanted more, craved more of this pleasurable feeling coursing through them, burning them.
#15 - Flexible: “I really didn’t think anyone could do that,” China muttered, his only reaction to the newest doujinshi Japan sent him (as a prank.)
#16 - Flying: “Don’t you think it would be safer to walk,” China muttered, staring at the plane that would undoubtedly go up tens of thousands of feet in the air.
#17 - Food: “That sounds good,” Japan said absent-mindedly, trying to find something other than the melted ice cream trickling down the side of China’s mouth to focus on.
#18 - Foot: “China, you know that you should stop hopping,” Japan murmured, watching with amusement as China felt due to misplacing his foot.
#19 - Grave: “Don’t you think you’re being too serious,” Japan asked, noting the serious expression on the other’s face.
#20 - Green: “Don’t you think he would go so well with Red,” Japan asked, pointing to the two main characters from the original Pokemon games.
#21 - Head: “Why don’t you think,” Japan muttered, glaring at the bump on the other’s head.
#22 - Hollow: “I can’t help but think there’s nothing in your head,” China chided as he changed the bandage.
#23 - Honor: “I would be honored to accompany you to the dance,” Japan murmured, his eyes glimmering with something akin to amusement.
#24 - Hope: “Maybe, just maybe, I feel the same way you do, China,” Japan said, closing his eyes.
#25 - Light: Japan gasped, unused to the sunlight that had suddenly blinded him.
#26 - Lost: It was amusing, to China, watching the other stumble around, trying to close the curtain that had exposed him to the sun’s (natural) light.
#27 - Metal: Japan shook his head, trying to figure out how China came to this conclusion-anything metallic should not be put in a working microwave.
#28 - New: It was weird, keeping up with the younger countries, but Japan did so if only to make himself feel better about his past.
#29 - Old: It was times like these that China felt old, as if he was a bit over worn.
#30 - Peace: Times like this were rare and few in between, but he preferred it over war.
#31 - Poison: Japan gasped, feeling it enter his body, but he couldn’t help but to feel as if this was all his fault.
#32 - Pretty: China laughed at the notion, of him looking “pretty” in a dress, but the look in Japan’s eyes meant that he was damn serious.
#33 - Rain: “At least our fight wasn’t outside,” Japan muttered, thinking of the American Revolutionary War.
#34 - Regret: “Haha,” Japan said monotonously, thinking of the other who was undoubtedly trying to move away from the screen as if it was fatal-he shouldn’t have shown China that.
#35 - Roses: “Ow,” Japan hissed, rubbing his head which undoubtedly was throbbing because it was hit by a bouquet of… roses?
#36 - Secret: “You’re not the only one who hides things,” Japan snapped uncharacteristically-he hated seeing China so depressed, and he would damn well break said depression.
#37 - Snakes: “A temptress,” China murmured, listening to the words of Envy himself, who was telling him of Japan and America.
#38 - Snow: Holding his hand out, Japan hauled the other to his feet without too much difficulty, trying hard not to laugh at the sight of China in fluffy, white snow (and crying that it’s deadly.)
#39 - Solid: A loud thud could be heard as something heavy fell on Japan-he later learned that it was his former guardian.
#40 - Spring: “It’s the dawn,” Japan said as he shyly held China’s warm, soft hand.
#41 - Stable: “Don’t you think that it’d be easier to pretend that we hated each other,” China asked, barely hanging on as he waited for the answer that would either send him plummeting or pull him to stable ground.
#42 - Strange: It was weird to hear China ask a question he knew the answer to, but Japan also knew that the other was insecure about relationships (especially relationships with Japan himself.)
#43 - Summer: “It is the night,” Japan whispered, holding China close as they watched the fireworks from his house.
#44 - Taboo: It was an agreement between the two to never bring up that one moment of betrayal, and they had kept it (mostly), but it didn’t stop them from thinking about it.
#45 - Ugly: “I don’t understand why you like me-you seem to like all those pretty foreigners!”
#46 - War: Closing his eyes, Japan tried to forget the blood he spilt, especially because it was mostly China’s blood.
#47 - Water: “Swim with me,” China whispered in what he hoped was a seductive, alluring voice-he just wanted to spend some quality time with Japan.
#48 - Welcome: “I humbly welcome you to this inn,” the owner said as he recognized Japan as a frequent customer (though he wondered about his customer’s companion.)
#49 - Winter: “Winter is the early morning,” Japan said, amused by that morning’s little incident (China was too innocent for his own good.)
#50 - Wood: “I’m sure there’s some type of innuendo,” China muttered as he stared at Japan’s laughing form (he had only asked him to help him out with this morning’s wood.)
