Home Again

Up to no good, the brothers tore around the country side, investigating and exploring, with creative side stops along the way. Balance was what they needed, in their own twisted and warped way. Their associations in Fandom Town were keeping them ‘off’ and it weighed them down, pinned and no longer free.

Kadaj found it terribly amusing the reports of violent weather that seemed to follow the path they took. How easy it was to fool these people. They wanted to believe the storms were to blame.

He supposed, in a way, they were right. Three silver storms were to blame.

For the first time in months, the expressions on his brother’s faces were clear and bright. The heavy cloud of responsibility was gone. Wild and free and beholden to none, answerable only to each other and no one else. Their laugher rang free, not holding the tense reserve that tightened it before.

Still, even trapped in this world and only a cursory idea of how to get home, they had a place they could use as a grounding point. A place to hole up, have relative safety and a way to get money they needed to survive until Kadaj was ready. And it was that place they roared up to and secured their bikes. Although...some things would need to change.

With Mother back in her place of honor, Loz went into town to scrounge for food while Yazoo and Kadaj showered. Their bikes, leathers and weapons would need cleaning to get the mud and blood off and the rest of the afternoon was spent doing that before they would head into town again to check in with Spike.
