hello. i just got the DS version of the game on friday.

why is that turnip-selling boar so freaking hard to find? i even resorted to time travel to have more time to look for her.

EDIT: i think this comment may have answered my question, but i seem to remember reading somewhere after a google search that she was hard to track down anyway.

I believe she only appears on Sunday mornings between 8am and midday, but obviously doesn't show during certain weeks since I didn't see her today during the Bright Lights festival. When you've got some capital together I advise investing it all in turnips, placing them on tables in your house by dropping something at your feet before trying (they're not supposed to go on surfaces, it's a handy glitch), and then they won't spoil after a week. An excellent way to pay off the larger mortgages when Nook's paying 190+ for them!

Since you've only had the game a few days though, just play about and see what's what before worrying about missing characters or anything. It's easy to figure out the vast majority of the content on your own.
