Is anyone coming from Adiantum up to Bar Gemels this weekend?

OMG had such a good time at Hocktide. The largest Equestrian event EVER held in AnTir! AWESOME!!!! Got on a horse for the first time in 20 years and I am now officially authorized to ride at SCA events...and SO incredibly SORE it isn't even funny!

Does anyone have info? I've heard nothing other than a comment on FB from spedgirl leading me to believe she's here?????

Monday - Leave house at 6:30. At work at 7:30. Meeting at new office from 2-4. Left work at 6. Went to store on the way home to get milk. Home at 7:30. Quick dinner (nasty premade lasagna...so not as good as mine...) then Dancing with the Stars and sewing/laundry on the commercials...Seriously I think Brian and I said 10 words to each other...

So I got the final word today, I am being transferred...this means I get to drive an EXTRA 20 miles each day...added to my 125 that I already drive every day...I am TIRED and I want to cry...at least I have a job...at least I have a job...at least I have a job...no that's not working...

Why? Because I don't like doing things that I am BAD at! This is what yesterday looked like for me:

So all of my attempts to get myself there, without me having to drive, seem to have failed :( I am a big ball of stress and thought maybe getting away from "life" for a weekend would help with that...but I know that the laundry, kids, etc. would be even crazier than before I left...so as much fun as I think it would have been I just don't see it ( Read more... )

I really would like to go to Kingdom A&S this weekend if I am feeling better. I am feeling MOSTLY better right now. I just really don't want to drive and don't have anyone from my retinue who is going. Does anyone have space (from Portland Friday)?
