My own search was many years back but over forty applications yielded one phone interview (that went no further), two conference interviews (that went no further) and one on-campus interview that landed the job. It's hard to predict and you will often not hear a word back from some applications (which sucks tremendously).

I applied to 65 jobs + 5 postdocs, maybe 6 phone interviews, got 2 campus interviews and 1 tt job offer (also 2 postdoc offers).
