domestic violence is soooooo frustrating. I was (am still, kinda) an advocate for our local shelter and it's so hard watching the woman go back to her abuser over and over again. :(

"Oh my god... girls are so dumb."

(these words come out of her mouth almost daily)

which, by the way, is usually in response to the stupid shit from guys that the girls put up with for no reason (or their bad choice in men... or the dumb things they do out of desperation to attract a man... etc)
