Man, I've been pretty busy. There's dust on this li'l fella, but you know, I've been out and about with my friends so much I just don't have that much to catch up with my bad self. I'm like, really popular. Business is great, though I'm still on the lookout for fulltime work. I've got some pretty good leads. There's this Jazz Club? I was thinking, maybe I should start scoping out for places like that. They eat guys like me up. [ Pause. ] I mean like, in a good way, obviously. I can sing, I'm funny, and I can play like, five instruments. I'm probably overqualified.
I got some gigs lined up for Valentine's Day, which is good because I don't have any other plans. [ Another more bitter pause. ] So that'll be bank. I think I'm going to put together a mix-tape of the most romantic songs I can think of. Just to have on hand, you know? Never hurts to be prepared, anddddd, I'm sure some people will appreciate the gesture. Everyone's Valentine's should have a soundtrack. There's actually someone I'd love to give it to, but that'd be kind of weird, right? I'm just assuming she doesn't like me, yet. So I'll just share it with everybody and hope she also enjoys it and maybe picks up on my subtle messages and asks me to coffee.
