[Lightning splintered the darkness of the sky, its clashing thunder reflecting the mood of the being that stalked from the jungle. Trees and plants moved from in front of him; no living thing dared block his path in his domain. Dark gray fur matted with rain fringed his long, sleek body in jagged spikes, all but the writhing mane tangling itself

Midgar's Elite General was a seasoned warrior. He had taken down countless monsters and enemies, but even he took a swift breath to see the monstrosity emerging from the night and rain.
Nevertheless, he steeled his resolve and readied his blade, pausing just long enough to mutter a quick fervent prayer of, "Shiva deliver us..."

The devil hunter blinked, licking his lips and wiping water from his face. "That's one big motherfucker right there," he quipped, grinning despite the danger stalking on four feet.
Slanting a glance to the Big General, he said cheekily, "What side ya want?"

He stared in silent awe, but there was a click in his brain at the realization that is coming for them and suddenly things were different. No more shaking in a corner, no more hiding behind a mask, this was the heartless nobody he was supposed to be.
His sitar was suddenly in hand. He'd hit his faking emotions threshold, and his attention quickly went to Dante, voice devoid of anything, "Told you, I wasn't a kid."

Midgar's General stood directly in front of Cabin N, gleaming sword lowered just above the drenched ground. Oddly, the sight of the beast hadn't struck terror into his heart, at least not yet.
Just another battle. Just another monster to defeat. Just another...just another...

Dean's breath caught, choking the word.
It was a hellhound. No, it was the hellhound. Dean touched his chest, still recalling how one of the unstoppable creatures had slashed him open and dragged his soul to Hell.
"We're screwed," he whispered.

He moved quickly to the window for a better look and almost staggered at what he saw. Not just one head... but three. Flames dripped from the jaws of the middle. The creature for which his gun was named stood just outside.
"Cerberus..."
Wide red eyes took in the sight a moment longer, then he hurried back to his charges. They needed his protection, but Vincent couldn't help feeling those outside would need his help even more.

What. The. Fuck.
That beast was bigger than anything they'd fought. A three headed wolf... the fiery eyes of that middle head captured her full attention. This was what she'd gotten into. This monster was going to kill them all.
"Fuck that," she swore. She didn't move forward, she didn't have the ammo to deal with this. But she stayed in the door, watching the others. Maybe her one bullet could count.
You know you're going to die, her mind told her.
"We'll see," she whispered.

There.
The beast spotted her in the doorway. Cerberus lunged forward, fiery maw open and aimed at the cabin door, or rather the woman standing in it. The cabin posed no obstacle as all three heads plowed into the front.}

"You're all morons. Give the dog what he wants and everyone go hide," she said as she turned around, started back into the cabin. She was going to go sit in the bathtub, maybe do her nails while Cerberus took what he wanted and killed whoever got in his way.

"Well, why don't we toss ya out and see if puppy there goes for it, huh? Who knows, he might even be that hungry."
The devil hunter shrugged, cracking his neck. "Just another day in the office, babe."
