The image that inspired it all was the idea of a Dalek getting a ribbon attached to itself, and then slowly growing attached to the pretty thing, despite its obvious inutility. But then it changed and I added some Wall-E esque humor.

If you've got time, between herding rug rats and writng good fiction, I think a picture of aChristmas treed Dalek would be a definite addition to *any* Christmas festivities. (Sorry, I have no artistic talent, or I'd try myself.)

I love the idea of the Dalek getting attached to its ribbon.
