It's not uncommon amongst our generation and the generations near it, but damn are old people really -- seemingly? -- attached to their ideas of the two party system. It's particularly bad on the island I live on, where one party will blackball the other on bills they agree on just because the other party thought of it first. Nothing gets done.

Oh, oops, I meant liberal and conservative in a very nebulous way, definitely in the non-political party sense! But yeah, that sounds really annoying. I'd just be so frustrated everytime -_-
