Thank you.

Obviously, I had a terrible time picking only one word. I'd naively thought that I'd picked a difficult enough letter that there'd be only a couple of options. Was I ever wrong. The more I thought about it, the longer my list of applicable V-words became. Vivify was definitely the one that summarized Janet the best, but the others deserved mention, because they also represent important aspects of Janet Fraiser.

Although I didn't get a narrative story out of this challenge, I HAVE figured out what opinionated accessory is going to give a POV of Janet's life at the SGC one of these days, :-). Unfortunately, that idea needs to simmer for awhile before it even reaches the proto-bunny level.

Thanks again.

Thank you. I feel vindicated! :-)

Actually, I thought 'voluptuous' and was a more volatile V, but that's why I veered away from it, :-).

Thank you.

I had a word in mind when I picked V from among the handful of remaining letters, but as I started to write, I realized that that word didn't really do Janet justice, so V DID turn out to be a more difficult letter than I thought. However, I think "vivify" DOES describe Janet very well (although sometimes Jack might feel the antonym "mortify" applies pretty well...:-), too.)

You're not the only one who got busy! I just got back to LJ a few days ago after nearly a month, finished reading all of Nightspear's fourth book, and now finally have a few minutes for posting myself.

Thank you for the positive feedback. I was astonished at how rich a vein (that letter again!) of words I had to work with, but it still took a lot of work to get the correct ones to work together.

Thanks.
