Hmm, I am trying to delete my previous reply because I feel weird leaving it there, even though it was screened, and it won't budge. Grr. But anyway. Being in denial can work for or against you. If only it were easier to predict when it's safe to be in denial (or think positively, if you prefer).

I'd tend to disagree hun... In my experience anyhow.

Positive thinking can translate to a positive attitude, which moost people just 'respond' and 'encounter' differeently. This in turn is more than likely to have them treat you differently from someone with a definite 'negative' spin on their world.

And then, when shit doesn't work out ANYWAY, your positive attitude takes a blow..... which is actually a healing/strengthening process because you learn to be positive, moreso, and for this positivity to even perhaps feed off any doubts or negativity because, positivity is something valuable in and of itself, regardless of outcome or expected outcome (:

(PS It's not like ya can't be outwardly positive and inwardrly negative, regarding any particular situation or thing. Just as long as people see and respond to your outward positivity, you'll find that it feeds itsef) :D

I see where you are coming from. But what about situations where your attitude isn't affecting anyone, and it's the universe that's doing wrong by you (wow, I anthropomorphised the entire universe!)?

It's sensible, isn't it? I don't see much evidence to contradict the theory.
