Character: 009 [Joe Shimamura]
Series: Cyborg 009
Character Age: 18
Canon: The enemy is Black Ghost, your typical evil organization that is trying to achieve world domination through the development of biological weapons and the breeding of war everywhere. Of course, what they didn’t actually consider was that kidnapping humans and turning them into super-powered cyborgs could maybe come back to bite them in the ass.

One of those humans is Joe, now called 009, the latest cyborg in the group trying to destroy Black Ghost once and for all. Joe is compassionate and well-intentioned but he is also self-righteous to the point of stubbornness. At times dumb, he is determined and of the habit of making obvious questions or ridiculous speeches to get his point across. As an idealist, Joe has complete faith in his own capacity and on what he believes is right. And while he will always pick self-sacrifice and favor talking over violence, he has no reservations of punching things until justice is reached. He gets a bit excited with justice, after all.

Sample Post:

This can’t be right. When I was told I’d be traveling to America to uncover The Truest American Way I wasn’t expecting to find such injustice!

Why are people trapped here? Is there a reason for it? No, forget that. Even if there is one, it’s unfair to keep so many people imprisoned here under these conditions. How long have they been here, waiting for the opportunity of a better future beyond these never-ending corn fields? It’s so cruel to force them to remain in this place, always fighting so desperately for what they want, with no means to obtain it. Because those who have been brought back from the dead have the right to walk free around the world, too, and I am here to prove it!!

It might look strange to most, but what does it matter if they lose a limb or two at times? They always put them back into place! Come on, it can’t be too much to tolerate. Just think of how hard it already is for them to live like this, with everyone else judging them for a condition they can’t hope to fix. I’m sure everyone could get used to some heads and arms coming off once or twice a day if they all try hard enough. And yeah, the smell could be a bit too much at times, I’ll give you that. But there’s an easy fix waiting to be used! Besides, they shouldn’t be blamed for it if that’s just their natural essence. It’s not their fault they’re different. Are they blaming us for breathing air and not needing to eat brains? Yeah, I didn’t think so.

It’s finally time to stop this! You have the power as the leader of this camp, why aren’t you listening to me?! Aren’t you tired of watching this injustice unfold? How long do you plan on keeping them begging for brains around this silo? Or teasing them with empty promises you won’t fulfil unless they dance like training monkeys? These are still people. Can’t you see how much effort they put into putting themselves back together?

Enough, I won’t stand for this cruelty any longer! Your Thriller Night Show has come to an end. I’m stopping it myself!
