Heater

Well I think I forgot to mention that my furance died here at home I think sometime Thursday night. Might have been Wednesday night. But I'm a badass. I fixed the thing myself, without anyone coming out. Took me about 1/2 hour calling around to find the part. The part costed 50 bucks. Much cheaper then someone coming out. You just to make sure that it is not emmiting to much carbon monoxide and kill yourselfs.

Nah, the furance is all high tech. The furance will shut off if it detects any carbon monoxide. That's what happen awhile back, cause of that bird that desided to fly into the vent at the top of the house.

The furnace was installed back in Nov 01. The guy at Manwill Heating says that the ignaitor usually dies after about 2-4 years.

The part I replaced suppose to get really red hot that ignites the gas. The old part wasn't getting warm at all.

Thats pretty cool. Now it is fixed for next winter. Our heater does not come on very much right now.
