Why I love my mum

There are feelings that can’t be described exactly with words. But I thought my mother would understand, so I did talk to her. And yes, she understood, and we agreed on many things.

I agree. I think a lot of the time, in sad or difficult times, what people need isn't a "saying" or comforting words, because they can seem hollow. all we need to do as friends is to let them know they're in our thoughts, that if they need us to talk to, just a hug or even to just be there, we'll be there, whatever and whenever they need.

And some people tend to rush in some comforting words to get rid of their guilty feeling, really. "Hey, I know him; if I don't say anything nice to him, it would be as if I don't care about him." Their words may only make things worse...
