Okay so before I even move on to the next part, I just have to comment. I have to confess, I'm a serial lurker. I can't help it. I just lurk. I read things and can't bring myself to comment, BUT OMG THIS STORY. Where have you been all my life?!

First off, Alvaro/Raul is one of my favorite ships and I just don't understand why it gets so little love. You are seriously making my life with this. It's perfect! It's just the right mix of hot, cute, and funny! The bit where Esteban and Alvaro are talking and Esteban thinks he's sleeping with Raul Gonzalez, I DIED. I literally laughed so hard. And all of Alvaro's dorkiness is included which is extra perfect (and when Game of Thrones made a guest appearance I squee'd because I love GoT too).

Okay yeah, that said I must keep reading! But thank you so much and fantastic job!

I know right? I knew they were pretty endearing best friends but as soon as I started paying attention to it as a ship I was just kind of amazed that there aren't more people on that. the touchy-feeliness alone, my god.

The scene with Esteban was where I started this whole ridiculous fic so I'm so glad it seems to amuse people, hee. And as for Alvaro's GoT obsession, maybe you've seen this already, but just in case, he tweeted this from Philadelphia...

This is awesome! There's so little Albiol/Arbeloa out there and the fact that this is so well written, funny and sexy is a huge bonus. I love the teasing nature of their relationship. It's obvious that they are really friends first. When El Pirata though Arbeloa was schtupping *Raul* I howled with laughter. Loved this.

I'm so made of fail, I forgot to save the second part of this and since I can't access LJ at work I have to wait till I get home to read the second part. Argh!!! But I adored this. I love the pairing, they're SO married, and the way you write them is brilliant, the chemistry between them, Álvaro's thoughts about what he has with Raúl, and how it's so different and yet perfect, and how it gradually changes from having fun to something more (see the phone calls with Silva - and I love the Silva cameo!!!), and OMG, their banter, and the geek references, and I really can't wait to see how this continues. I wish there was more fic about these two. They're made for each other!!!
