SGA 5x3 (Broken Ties) thoughts (spoilers)
TPTB taught us all two very important things this week.
1) If the person is strong enough to withstand the process, anyone will become a Wraith worshipper. Anyone. The corollary of course being that no one in their right mind would serve the Wraith willingly. Hardly surprising, but still important to establish, since Wraith worshippers have popped up throughout the show. We are to absolutely understand them as victims.
2) They have a better idea of who Woolsey is and how they want to use him than they ever did with Sam or Elizabeth. His scene with Torren was absolutely adorable. And I found it really interesting that the writers used him, rather than one of the team or even Keller, as a vehicle for Teyla to work out what she wanted her role to be.
This episode just rocked. Ronon's betrayal, fall, and recovery were very well done. We got to hear about and see Rodney in his bath tub. The team banter was awesome. The team love was overwhelmingly evident.
