SGA 5x18 (Identity) thoughts (spoilers)

That was pretty cool. Dawn Olivieri (who played Neeva) did an amazing job portraying her confusion and desperation, and just trying to get by until she could figure something out. It was also set up very well, where we spent the first almost half of the episode wondering who the heck she is, what's going on, and where Keller is. Also wondering if Ronon will ever learn to voice his instincts, or if he will just always skulk around and show up at just the right moment to keep Rodney from being shot. Seriously. And poor Rodney, still not able to believe that anyone would actually want to have sex with him. (Though I honestly can't hear Keller actually uttering the words "make love." I think it would be something much more, well, repressed, like "have fun." Maybe that's just me.)

I don't know if this is actually true or if I'm just noticing it more, but Sheppard seems to be doing a lot of "my way or the highway" kind of stuff this season. It is just kind of off-putting. I mean, it usually gets the job done, and quickly, but sheesh.

Also, even if I had chosen Rodney over Ronon, and Ronon showed up at my door looking like he did, well, that would certainly test my resolve. Preeettyyy

Of course all of this ignores the fact that when the show finally has a black person on screen for more than thirty seconds he's what? Oh yes, a thief and a murderer. *headdesk a lot*
