i know it's been years, but when you're in the city in august we should see each other, maybe get lunch or something... it would be really great to catch up and hear all about your travels and everything! also i just got back from edinburgh and it was really lovely, you'll have a wonderful time there.

i'm going to be a TA for a creative writing class at davidson college. are you still around there? for some reason i thought you were in arkansas, but you seem to move around a bit. (not like i have any room to talk.)

i do, indeed, move around quite often (and yes, arkansas, of all places, is where i'm at this moment). not in north carolina anymore, but i lived just a little north of davidson, in mooresville, for a about half a year.

davidson's a nice little college town. the roomie, ex-girlfriend, says that it's her dream job (once she gets her phd).

should be a nice, relaxing time for you. if you get a chance, definitely head out to asheville, which is a couple of hours away in the blue ridge. beautiful town.
