My world isn't all that different....it's the same countries and the same languages. But something must have changed here, long ago, for magic to develop.
[And then for some reason that magic brought him from a magic-less world. Is there a connection? And why him specifically? Why bring him without Wormmon?

[Book thus secure, he sizes up the armor. It only targeted him - why? Because he's new? Because he's young?]
There must be a way to get this to stop.

[He scribbles something on his parchment, then looks at Ken: Ravenclaw, second year at most, he doesn't normally pay much attention to the younger kids but he doesn't think he's seen him before. Rather than ask outright, he'll do the polite thing and introduce himself, offering a hand to shake.] I'm Thomas H. Norstein, fourth year.

[Since he's speaking English, giving his surname last seems appropriate.
It takes him a moment to notice the hand, but he does accept the handshake - giving an inclination of his head since he still feels like he should bow.] Is this happening everywhere, then?
