Giving Ynez her present

Lars has a small glass of vodka while he waits for Ynez to come to his office. He knows she's always late, so he's not worried. He's dressed in casual clothes - just like he told Ynez to wear nothing fancy.

All the preparations are done - so now all that's left is waiting for Ynez and hoping that everything would go as planned.

Ynez is actually almost on time, for her, at least, no more than fifteen minutes late. She's dying of curiosity. Lars had been so mysterious, even moreso than usual.

She hadn't expected him to get her anything. She doesn't give people presents so they have to give her something back, she gives them presents to please them.

She bounces with excitement as she knocks on the door to his office.

The present Lars is giving Ynez however is something he's been promising her for a while now. And he's just found the perfect place to give it to her.

"Come on in," he calls out as he hears the knock on the door.

Ynez peeks in first, grinning broadly, then bounces into the room, full of energy and excitement.

"Happy New Year!"

She looks around curiously, but doesn't see anything that looks like a present.

That's because the present isn't exactly here.

"Happy New Year to you too, Ynez!" Lars gives her a smile and gets up to give her a hug.

"I know you hate this part, but hold on tight to me."
