I've been on it for for a little over 3 years now. I battle insomnia constantly, and it still leaves me feeling vaguely foggy and a little...numbed...but defineatly better than SSRIs. Oh, and HEADACHES...arghhh...those suck.

So yeah, it pwns me too.

Paxil is my miracle drug. I love your comment about "'I could never take antidepressants." I hear that shit too. I especially love it when people who smoke weed all day long try to tell me they don't want to become a zombie from antidepressants.

I found that Wellbutrin didn't work for me, but hell, everyone needs his or her own cocktail. They know HOW these drugs work, but they don't know WHY they work well for some people and not others. Go fig. It's tossing the dice.

My drug of choice at the moment is Cymbalta, but that could change. Anyone who says that antidepressants are bad (Tom Cruise, anyone?) can bite me.

I think it's sad that weed is the closest thing to an antidepressant I could get. I *still* can't get in to see someone who can prescribe me somthing that works, so I'm just self-medicating week to week on pot, chocolate, and heavy doses of TV shows on DVD/computer. It sort of really sucks.

Also, I dated a guy once who was on Wellbutrin and he was a fucking wreck. But that's more the person than the drug.
