Summary: I’m scared of what you’ll say, so I’m hiding what I’m feeling; but I’m tired of holding this inside my head.

Author's Note: This is part two. I started writing this back in November of '10 so the events might have shifted. Don't pay too much attention to the detail of what episode they just wrapped. Play along :)

- Part One -

Glee had started out famously. The cast got along perfectly right off the bat. Some had mentioned how rare it was that any cast could get along so well so quickly. It was almost a bad omen, but they all tried to brush those superstitions aside because they were having too much fun to care if it was a good or bad sign. The work wasn’t easy, however. Schedules were packed to the brim and at times it was as if it were too much; but that’s when the genius of the crew came in. Just when the cast thought it was getting a little too out of hand, they would add play dates, group sessions, and breaks to calm the actors. It wasn’t as easy as it seems on television.

Cory, Harry, and Mark seemed to get along since they are all closer in age than the rest of the main cast. Chris, Amber, Kevin, and Jenna were attached by the hip most of the time, and Naya and Heather were friends right from the start. Dianna and Lea, interestingly enough, were the first ones to form a tight bond. It was ironic because of the contrast in their characters, though most expected that to happen. The personalities of the two girls complemented each other well. Lea had had a lot of experience on Broadway and that fascinated Dianna; Dianna’s interests and hobbies kept Lea in wonderment. It was a match made in heaven.

As they formed cliques, they also kept close with one another. The director was very pleased with how the show was turning out. Ranks were off the charts. Every week, Glee gained viewers. The response from audiences all over the world was almost unbearable. The show was quickly becoming an even more surreal experience for all of them.

After the wrap up of the first episode in volume two, the cast and crew had a party. The cake sat on a table, lit up and shimmering letters made of icing saying, “congratulations gleeks!” Ryan held up his megaphone and called out for everyone to gather around the table.

“First of all, I don’t think I could ever have done such a great job with a show if it weren’t for all of you.” He spoke in a joyful yet humble voice, “this cake is not only symbolizing our hard work, but it is in great dedication to all of you for going through this amazing journey with me.”

Everyone around the table was smiling, holding back tears. Dianna reached for Lea’s hand. Jenna rested her head on Kevin’s shoulder. Cory patted Heather on the back with a sweet smirk.

“So everyone, let’s dig in and enjoy what waits for us through this gleeky adventure!”

Laughter spread the room. They all could agree that after a show like Nip/Tuck, Glee sure made him soft and cheesy.

The party held out for a few more hours. Everyone was having a good time, laughing, taking photos, telling funny stories. Eventually, people started to grow tired. The room was nearly empty and Cory and some of the guys volunteered to clean up, leaving the girls to do as they wished with the rest of their evening.

Dianna lived walking distance from where the party was held so she headed to her apartment. Lea followed her, inviting herself over, not that Dianna minded. The blonde dug deep in her purse. Her hand moved about, all Lea could hear was rattling. Her face grew worried.

“Can’t find your key?” Lea asked.

“It’s in here somewhere, I know it.” Dianna kept shuffling things around. Finally, she decided to sit on the floor and started taking out everything from her purse. Wallet, cell phone, tissues, hand sanitizer, mirror, lip balm, camera; one by one, item by item, still no key.

Dianna grew frustrated, but Lea laughed a little.

“What’s so funny?” Dianna had caught Lea off guard. Dianna rubbed her eyes and sighed. Lea smiled, bit her lip and opened her mouth to speak, but Dianna held up her index finger without even glancing at her, “they are here, I know it. Why would I have taken them out of my bag?”

At this point, Lea was just watching Dianna go through her day counting each and every single event on her fingers. Again, Lea bit her lip to keep from giggling.

“Don’t think I don’t know what you’re doing, Lea.” She said still making no eye contact.

“What? How do you even-”

“Because, I know you too well, and I know that I look dumb right now.”

Lea moved to meet Dianna’s gaze, “You do not look dumb. Do you see who you’re talking to? I’m the queen of losing keys. Quite frankly, losing anything. Do you want to just go to my apartment? We can text the boys and see if they saw your keys at the room. Is that okay with you?”

Dianna sighed, “Yeah, I guess that’s okay.” Lea smiled and started picking up all the contents of Dianna’s purse and throwing them back in. She held out her hand and helped Dianna up. They walked down the stairs in silence. Dianna’s feet were hurting and Lea could see that she was struggling to walk to her speed. The brunette called a cab and they headed over to her apartment.
