Aww, poor Jeff. *hugs him* Like JJ, I'm not really into Jeff/Chip at the moment (slight overload lately!) but I can appreciate a really well written piece like this. It definitely pulls at the heart strings. Very nicely done. :)

I think the structure worked well for you here, it gave it a very nice build-up and made me wonder about things that weren't being said.

I like Greg and Ryan ducking out of the room when things got serious, and generally Greg as a friend and background character. As always, you write dialogue very well. Is it wrong that I think of that as your special niche now? *g*

First of all, thank you very much! Secondly, that's totally fine by me :). I've always thought I was much better at dialogue than everything else, LOL, so I appreciate you saying that. I love writing dialogue, too, so it works out fine.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwww. Yeah, that was painful, and that ending was good.....still ouchy good, but good nonethless. ^_^ Getting through that, the build up to find out what it was that broke them apart was nearly torture-and I mean that as compliment. ^_^ Very nicely done.

This was definitely one of my angstier fics, but I'm generally pleased with how it turned out. I'm glad that you enjoyed the suspense leading up to the reveal as to what happened between the two of them. I'm considering continuing on with this to eventually fix things, hopefully. Not because I can't handle an unhappy ending, but because I had all these ideas for how it could continue.
