Haha! Well, honestly, I AM actually sorry if it traumatized you at all, but I'm glad you're aware of the ship now...? A LOT of people ship Derek/Stiles (Sterek, if you're into portmanteaus), actually. Like a vast majority of the fandom (though of course not everyone). The thing about them is not so much that they're super in love in the show, because LOLOL, not even close. I think what I, and a lot of other people love, is their potential to be really awesome for each other. Stiles literally brings out the humour and snarkiness in Derek that no other character does, and even though they claim not to like or trust each other, they've both saved each other's lives multiple times. And Stiles is the single only person that Derek's ever really allowed himself to be vulnerable around

Thanks for blessing us with this. It was absolutely fucking amazing. The big secret that neither Derek nor Stiles were part of. The big reveal and the subsequent realization that yes, Stiles does have feelings for Derek. The making out. HOT!!! The ending. Just brilliant all over :)

I was thinking of what you said about Stiles' 16-year-old self punching him in the face if he said he would be in love with Derek. Then I was like that is an awesome idea. Years after they met and after many things have happened Derek and Stiles are in love/mates. One day the Stiles of now de-aged and thinks like he did when he was 16 - what does Derek and the rest of the pack do now and how do they get their Stiles back. Fun and hi jinks ensue!!! I could see this in a fic. (I can't write sadly).

Thank you so much! I'm glad that you enjoyed the fic and that the characters rang true to their canon selves :). Also, I think that fic idea would be super fun. I know of a couple with a similar-ish concept, where Stiles loses his memory instead of de-aging. But yeah, I like it.
