The opening line from this article seems to state the obvious.

"UP to 300 people were evacuated from the University of NSW in Sydney after a volatile chemical was discovered in a science building."

To be quite frank, I think I'd be disappointed in a University Level Science department if they didn't have some volatile chemicals in them. Carefully

I believe that after a certain local University's old Chemistry building was declared 'cleared' by the Chem Department the OHS people found and removed some 4000+ hazardous items remaining.
