WTF media making sensible commentary.

There is currently a trading hours debate going on in WA. This article is possibly some of the more sensible commentary about it( why is it that journo's are so bessotted by increased trading hours).

Basically there are two issues, consumer convenience and competition. They do not implicitly have the same solution. It is wise to remember that.

Thanks. That is indeed a good article, and in addition the idea that there are obvious steps to be taken to diminish the dominance of Coles and Woolworths which don't involve, once again, sabotaging decent opening hours for those who work 9-5 is quite comforting.
