Yay! Missed you! zengoalie April 1 2008, 01:37:10 UTC
Yeah, we don't see much falling snow...within the past few hours. It actually came down like a blizzard at one point today. Tomorrow is supposed to be in the sixties.
Record snowfall for the Granite state this year. I'm really looking foward to spring and mud and such.

But it is very nice to enjoy the pretty flakes that are so peaceful...

You've been gone so long I'm now dogless...and my wee Kate will be starting first grade in the fall.

Dogless? That doesn't sound good.

I cannot believe Kate is old enough for first grade. Surely not? My niece turns four this month and I wonder when that had time to happen either.

Oh yay! Seattle! How wonderful! How sad that I'm not there right now, but instead toiling away in Boise - it would be so nice to meet up!

Snow used to be magical for me, indeed, all the way up to this current winter, where we here in Boise had a January full of snow, every damn day. That's about when I got sick of it. Alas!

I've been so out of things lately. Is Boise a permanent or temporary thing? I'd love to meet up when you're around next.

Yeah, I think that dealing with snow on a day-to-day basis would be a pain. Not the least because I'm kinda clumsy.

Boise is a quasi-temporary thing, in that I'm here officially until June 2009, but I will be going back and forth between here and Seattle often until that time. I decided to come out here to do my clinical rotations because the Idaho Track experience is well-known for being great. Sometime I think I was crazy to do this, and other days, I feel good about it. Eh. *shrugs*

Oh, I know about the clumsiness in snow. I feel your pain!

So, how are you adjusting to Seattle?

By your second or third snowfall, it won't seem pretty at all - just dangerous and annoying.

More importantly - HELLO, HOW ARE YOU?

No! I will forever love the miracle snow! *wink*

I am GOOD how are you?

I don't see much snow, but I've experienced it more than ten or fifteen times, and I am definitely not tired of it! It's so beautiful! (Granted, I have never had to shovel it...) I'm excited that you're getting some. And that you're not dead! Hooray.

Snerk. Of course I'd be happy on both counts!
