Wow, what an incredible life. Makes me sad that this was the first I'd heard of her.

Also makes me recall the epic story of Dickey Chapelle, who I first heard of through an exhibit of photojournalist who died while covering the war in Vietnam - http://digitaljournalist.org/issue9711/req1.htm

Appropriate, though. After all, as far as the ones behind the cameras are concerned, they aren't the story.
