Right, so as many of you heard, the TTC when on a (illegal, might I add) strike first thing yesterday morning the 29th of May. Why does this bother me you ask, a grocery store worker from Mississauga? Because I was supposed to go downtown yesterday and get my visa to travel to India ( Read more... )

Pft. I don't get this strike at all. I was out yesterday, and I still saw buses doing their routes, TTC ones no less... someone care to explain?

(Sidenote: At first, the only one I could see the route of said "Not in Service" so I briefly entertained the idea that that was what they were all doing: driving around with their "Not In Service" signs up just to be jackasses, but I quickly saw other buses actually doing their routes...)

well, the strike was over by 5pm... were you out after said time frame?
otherwise, it's judt the ttc being the ttc... stupid as per usual

what's really dumb is the union members are sueing the union for the $2-3 million lost in revenue
