Mod Post -- Alive and Recruiting!!

A big hello and very belated happy new year to all our members~!!

Given that we haven't made any sort of announcement here in about three months, we thought that we should make this mod-post to give you an update on our status as well as seek your opinions on a few changes that we will be making to releases from now onwards.

Yup! As'maria does a fair amount of her Seed Club work on ordinary everyday items, with some fun results *L* I'll try to put up some more soon ^_^

Maybe put the sound effect translation outside of the border of the frame. That's what Deacon was doing with Destiny Astray.

you've got a point there. I'll consider this, since I do think side-subbing would be nice an non-intrusive. It's just that we didn't want to break entirely from what' we've started doing.. For future titles though it sounds like a plan. Thanks for the suggestion!

Also, i agree with recession. i think the SFX translations should be outside the border becuz i believe SFX to be part of the artwork. =) Plus it's easier XD.

I clean and edit for a few scanlation groups and usually it's just putting a note sfx: whatever outside the sfx in the border if you don't want to clean it out. I'd go with translating most of them, since it looks incomplete otherwise. I personally don't mind the sfx not being cleaned out, and some people like to have the original japanese there with the translation. I guess it just depends on what the cleaner wants to do. It's less time consuming to not clean it out. I usually go with half/half. Some are easy to clean so I clean them, if they are really complex or if the sfx makes no sense in English (for example sfx: car sounds) it's better to just leave it.

I'd also clean some chapters if you need my help.

Hahaha indeed, I/we should have followed the trend.. it's much more practical than redrawing sfx. Thanks for your input too!! ♥ since it looks like there are a few volunteers now for cleaning phase two of Operation:Revival is in green light! I'll send you an email with details in just a bit!
