Could the West Nile virus be God's wrath for people who wear short-sleeved shirts?

Unfortunately, crows seem to be taking the brunt of the attack. I haven't seen or heard a single crow in D.C. in over six weeks.

For the first eight months I lived in DC, I saw about twenty or thirty crows every day, most of them living in my back yard. Then all of a sudden, they were all gone, and they haven't come back in over fifteen months. I've seen a few fish crows around, but no American Crows. It's possible there are still some left in various areas of DC (in fact, in the suburbs about six months ago, some assholes in the town government poisoned about fifty of them), but where I am (Cleveland Park), there seem to be none whatsoever. West Nile was killing them off left and right last year, and at least here, they haven't recovered.
