The quality of the audio on your computer makes a lot of difference. We've tested it on my laptop and the older loaner I have and you can really tell the difference. It's a lot more annoying on the laptop with better hardware.

Also, I apparently have the hearing of a 25-year-old if the hardware is good, but not so much if it's crap.

GAH.

Nice to know I have young hearing... its not as bad as the security systems, tho.....THOSE are painful and annoying. This one just kind of...clenches up your neck, heh. Ouch.
